Certificate Program in Integrative Trauma Studies:
a 9-Month Program - Now Online!
The Integrative Trauma Studies Certificate Program provides a comprehensive overview of essential topics in the understanding and treatment of trauma. Weekly, clinically oriented seminars integrate psychoanalytic/psychodynamic concepts with contemporary, essential themes and considerations in the treatment of trauma. All instructors combine theoretical and clinical material with case and/or video illustrations.
The program is designed to provide experienced clinicians with the enhanced understanding and skills to treat clients with a broad range of traumatic experiences, including childhood trauma, adult-onset trauma, and trauma related to racism, culture, immigration, gender and sexual identity.
Seminars are led by an outstanding faculty, all recognized experts in trauma treatment, who are especially effective at engaging candidates through theoretical presentation, clinical illustration, and interventions that are particular to trauma treatment. Topics are scheduled in a particular sequence to optimize candidates' grasp and integration of the material.
