As new and exciting treatment options emerge, how do we choose what to study as we grow and mature as therapists?  What are some of the differences/similarities between these models? How do we decide what to use and when to use it?   How do we position ourselves in the treatment room with an overflowing tool box of options? This talk will encourage participants to think about and discuss what treatment models work for them and why and how this may change over the course of their professional (and personal) lives.  Clinical examples will be used to illustrate and discuss different treatment models and interventions and how they were or were not helpful in deepening the process and leading to change.

    Learning Objectives:

    1. Examine the basic concepts in EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and IFS.
    2. Consider more strategically about how to use different therapeutic interventions.
    3. Explore about where you are in the life span of your practice and what you need to study in order to feel “current” and professionally fulfilled
